Gubernias
were abolished in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in 1923–1925.
It was replaced by the okruha and raion system. In the start there
were 53 okruhas, but after a consolidation in 1925 the number of
okruhas was lowered to 41. In 1930–1932 okruhas were abolished
and, after a further consolidation, replaced by oblasts. The Vinnytsia
(Russian: Vinnitsa) oblast was founded on 27 February 1932. It
was divided into 27 raions, one being Pohrebryshche (Russian: Pogrebrische)
raion. The village of Andrushivka from now on belonged to Pohrebryshche
raion.
